Our mission

We believe useful travel information should be free and easy to act on. We serve travelers who want to spend less, plan their own routes and enjoy the freedom of a do-it-yourself trip.

Our guides and tools cover everyday travel needs, including payments, internet access, transport, accommodation and communication.

How we test our guides

The steps in our articles are based on our team's own registrations and payment tests. We work through the process ourselves so our guides reflect hands-on experience.

App screens, card acceptance and account requirements can vary by device, country and provider. Our test results describe our experience; they do not guarantee the same outcome for every traveler.

Official sources and updates

Our policy coverage refers to official government and service-provider websites. When rules change, we update the relevant guidance and show the last verified date at the top of policy-related articles and guides.

Before traveling or paying, check the linked official source for the rules that apply to your dates and circumstances.

How ChinaNexa is funded

Google advertising and voluntary Ko-fi support help keep ChinaNexa running and our guides free. Advertising does not influence our editorial recommendations.
